Hello all applicants!

To be fully admitted into Sa Mạc Emmaus II as a Sa Mạc Sinh, you must successfully PASS the Entrance Exam. Your Đoàn Trưởng’s should have already informed you in advance so that you could properly prepare. If you truly studied, you will do well!

We want everyone entering Sa Mạc to share the same foundation and mindset so that you can all journey together throughout this experience.

The exam will open at 12:00 AM EST on May 24th and will close on May 31st at 11:59 PM EST.

Important Reminders:

– You will have a maximum of 2 attempts. If you do not pass after both attempts, the BĐH will contact you for further evaluation

– Open book | Multiple choice

– Passing grade is 80%

– 10 Minutes Timer

– Once you begin the exam, you must complete it in one sitting. You cannot leave the page and return later to continue

– If you fail on the first attempt, I suggest you study and try again another day 

If you receive a score of 80% or higher, congratulations! You will receive further instructions from your SMT after the exam period closes.

Xin được hoan nghinh các bạn đã ghi danh tham dự sa mạc Emmaus II, sa mạc huấn luyện Huynh Trưởng Cấp 1. Thật khâm phục tinh thần, lòng nhiệt thành và hy sinh của các bạn để đến với sa mạc và để được gần gũi hơn với Chúa Giêsu Thánh Thể.

Xin bạn hãy in bài Kinh Dâng Mình Huynh Trưởng dưới đây lên một tờ giấy bìa cứng (cardstock paper) và đặt lời kinh này nơi bàn học/làm việc hay bên đầu gường để bạn có thể suy niệm mỗi ngày. Đây là lời kinh mà bạn sẽ quỳ trước bàn thờ trong ngày tuyên hứa để dâng lên Chúa lời khấn nguyện. Có lẽ chúng ta bắt đầu hành trình bằng sự ao ước được Dâng Mình làm Huynh Trưởng, hoặc ít nhất là cầu nguyện cho thêm lòng ao ước được muốn Dâng Mình.

Trong những ngày sắp đến, các bạn sẽ làm bài kiểm tra và đạt điểm yêu cầu để hoàn tất thủ tục ghi danh và chính thức là Sa Mạc Sinh của Sa Mạc Emmaus II. Sau đó bạn sẽ nhận những lời hướng dẫn để chuẩn bị tâm hồn, gặp gỡ đồng đội, và chuẩn bị những trách nhiệm của đội.

Welcome the applicants to Emmaus II, training camp for youth leaders Level 1. We commend your spirit, dedication, and willingness to sacrifice in joining this spiritual journey to be one step closer to Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

Please print the Act of Consecration for Youth Leaders below on a cardstock paper. Please keep the card on your desk or next to your bed so you can reflect on it daily. This is the prayer that you will offer at the altar on the day of the Rite of Dedication to become a youth leader. It is good to start the journey with the desire to dedicate your life as a youth leader, or if you don’t have the desire now, at least to pray for the desire to desire to offer yourself to serve the Lord.

In the upcoming days, you will receive instruction about the Entrance Exam. Before you are officially Sa Mac Sinh, you need to pass the exam to complete the registration. You will receive instructions on ways to prepare yourself spiritually, meet your teammates, and prepare your team assignments for camp.

For now, take a deep breath and offer all your worries to God. Just remember, Jesus has invited you to be His Youth Leader and He will be by your side.
