In the Emmaus account, Jesus begins by listening: “(Jesus) asked them, ‘What are you discussing as you walk along?’” That same posture should shape EYM Youth Leaders: patient, intentional listening and dialogue, so the young person can recognize God’s activity in their life and learn to interpret their experience through the lens of faith.
