The Eucharistic Youth Movement (EYM) is an ecclesial movement dedicated to forming children and young people in a deep, personal relationship with Jesus through prayer, Scripture, and the Eucharist, while remaining fully integrated with and in service to the local Church, including its dioceses, parishes, and schools. Its spiritual life is built on three core pillars — Gospel, Eucharist, and Mission — which together guide members to contemplate and imitate Christ, be nourished by His life, and actively serve humanity.
These pillars are expressed through universal foundations of prayer, communion, sacrifice, and apostleship, with the daily offering of oneself understood as a living Eucharistic practice. Members who complete the movement’s stages transition at age 25 into the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, which offers a continuing nine-stage spiritual journey called “the path of the heart,” with options such as Communities of the Pope’s Prayer Network to sustain lifelong growth in service to God’s Kingdom.
