The three-day Youth Leader Training Camp (August 14–16) at the Đất Hứa Youth Retreat and Activity Center in Củ Chi, TP.HCM, was an exodus—a journey outward. Entering a new environment, among new people and into a rhythm of life different from the everyday, I brought with me some knowledge, some experience, and a flame from my consecrated life. Yet the deeper I journeyed into the “desert,” the more I realized that some lessons reveal themselves only when we dare to step beyond what is familiar.
