Biography
Saint Agnes of Montepulciano was born in 1268 in Italy. From a very young age, she showed a deep love for God and desired to dedicate her life entirely to Him. At just nine years old, she entered religious life and quickly became known for her holiness and wisdom.
Agnes later became the prioress of a Dominican convent in Montepulciano, where she led the community with humility, prayer, and great devotion. Her life was marked by mystical experiences, including visions and extraordinary signs that strengthened the faith of those around her.
Despite her gifts, she remained simple and humble, always pointing others toward Christ. She died in 1317, leaving behind a powerful example of purity, prayer, and trust in God.

It is said that angels assisted Saint Agnes in her work, and that a mysterious manna-like substance appeared at her tomb, attracting many pilgrims.
