O Lord Jesus Christ,
on this thirty-fifth day of Lent,
I thank You for bringing me this far in the holy season.
As Holy Week approaches, draw my heart more deeply into Your Passion.Give me the grace to walk with You courageously,
even when the road is difficult.
Strengthen my resolve when I feel tired or discouraged.
Help me to carry my daily cross with love and patience,
united to the Cross You carried for me.
Cleanse me of all selfishness and lukewarmness.
Fill me with true sorrow for my sins
and with a burning desire to love You more faithfully. Prepare my soul for the sacred mysteries of Your suffering, death, and resurrection.
May these last days of Lent bear abundant fruit in my life,
so that I may celebrate Your victory over sin and death with a pure and joyful heart.Mary, Mother of Sorrows,
stand by me as you stood by your Son at the foot of the Cross.
Saint Joseph, guardian of the Redeemer,
pray for me in these final days of preparation.
