O Lord Jesus Christ,
as I enter the thirty-fourth day of this holy season of Lent,
I come before You weary yet hopeful.
The journey has been long, and at times my resolve has weakened,
but Your grace has sustained me thus far.Draw me closer to Your Passion in these final days.
Help me to walk with You along the Way of the Cross,
to embrace the sacrifices that still remain,
and to offer my small sufferings in union with Yours. Cleanse my heart of all that displeases You.
Strengthen my will to persevere in prayer, fasting, and works of charity.
Let me not grow discouraged by my weaknesses,
but rather trust in Your infinite mercy and love. Prepare me, dear Savior, for the sacred days of Holy Week that approach.
May the memory of Your suffering and death stir in me a deeper sorrow for sin
and a burning desire to love You more faithfully.
By the merits of Your most precious Blood,
grant me the grace to finish this Lent well,
so that I may rejoice with pure joy at the coming of Your Resurrection.
Mary, Mother of Sorrows,
pray for me and accompany me to Calvary.
Saint Joseph, protector of the Holy Family,
watch over me in these remaining days.
