CV NEWS FEED // The Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth, Israel, will hold a Mass of Thanksgiving May 16 to honor the election of Pope Leo XIV.
“With hearts filled with joy and gratitude, you are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Thanksgiving for the newly elected Pope Leo XIV,” states an invitation posted on the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem’s website.
His Excellency Rafiq Nahra, patriarchal vicar in Galilee, will preside over the 6 p.m. Mass.
“We unite in prayer,” the invitation adds, “for the new Supreme Pontiff and the universal mission of the Church.”
