World Apostolate of Fatima will join Northern Eucharistic Pilgrimage towards Eucharistic Congress

CV NEWS FEED // The World Apostolate of Fatima is joining the route of the Northern Eucharistic Pilgrimage, beginning in Connecticut and ending in Indianapolis, by leading processions with the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima through participating parishes.

“The foundation of our Faith is our belief in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. The foundation of the Fatima message is Eucharistic Reparation,” explained World Apostolate of Fatima Executive Director David Carollo in an April 15 statement

“This is where the Angel of Peace at Fatima directed us more than a century ago. Mary accompanying her Son on this journey to Indianapolis is a reaffirmation of this,” Carollo added.

The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage consists of four routes of Eucharistic processions that begin in the four corners of the United States, and will all meet in the central location of Indianapolis, Indiana, in July for the National Eucharistic Congress. The Congress will be held in Indianapolis from July 17–21, and is anticipated to have an attendance of 80,000 Catholics from around the nation.

The World Apostolate of Fatima is joining the Northern Pilgrimage, starting at St. Theresa Catholic Church in the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut, in May. The tour of the statue will include stops in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Steubenville, Ohio; and Lafayette, Indiana, among other locations.

The statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be on display in Indianapolis during the Eucharistic Congress in July.

According to the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA in an April 15 article published on Christian News Wire, parishes hosting the tour “will offer prayers and vigils of Eucharistic reparation for the return of fallen-away and marginal Catholics. Petitions for these conversions are being gathered from across the nation to be carried in Our Lady’s Heart to the Eucharistic Revival Congress.”

Executive Director of the Eucharistic Revival Congress Tim Glemkowski wrote a letter expressing support for the World Apostolate of Fatima joining the Pilgrimage and Congress.

The processions will “visibly demonstrate Our Blessed Mother’s accompaniment of this Eucharistic Revival journey the Church is undertaking collectively,” Glemkowski wrote:

The Eucharistic Revival, in my view, is distinctly Marian in its heart, part of the work of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts to heal, convert, form and unify the Church so that it can be sent on mission “for the life of the world.” Our Blessed Mother never obscures her Son, but invites all to behold and know Him fully.
