CV NEWS FEED // The color guard of the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) will herald the beginning of a memorial Mass, set for Sunday, May 18, at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
An emailed press release from AMS states that Mass will honor all who have served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Confessions will be offered from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., with the Rosary at 3:35 p.m., Vespers at 4 p.m., and Holy Mass at 4:30 p.m.
AMS Archbishop Timothy Broglio, who is also the president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, will celebrate the Mass and deliver the homily.
EWTN will record the liturgy and air it at 11 a.m. EST on Memorial Day, May 26.
