Morning Offering (Traditional Catholic Prayer)
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day
for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world,
for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins,
the reunion of all Christians,
and in particular for the intentions of our Holy Father this month.
Amen.
Daily Prayer for February 17, 2026
Heavenly Father,
on this Tuesday before the holy season of Lent begins,
we thank You for the gift of another day to love and serve You.
Blessed are those who persevere under trial, for they will receive the crown of life You have promised to those who love You (James 1:12).
Help us, Lord, to endure temptations that arise from our own desires, and never to blame You, who are the source of every good and perfect gift from above.
In the Gospel, Your Son warned the disciples against the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod—the yeast of hypocrisy and worldly thinking (Mark 8:15).
Cleanse our hearts from all that hardens us or blinds us to Your truth.
Open our eyes to recognize Your presence and provision in our lives, so we may trust You more deeply as Lent approaches. Mary, Mother of Sorrows and our guide through penance, pray for us that we may prepare our souls with humility and love.
Saint Joseph, terror of demons, protect us this day. Through Christ our Lord.
