Republican Senators Urge More Regulations on Abortion Pill in Senate Hearing

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, chaired by Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-Louisiana, a medical doctor, held a hearing about the drugs Jan. 14.

Republican lawmakers called for stricter rules, while Democratic lawmakers advocated for easy access to the drugs.
