Today we celebrate the miraculous event of October 13, 1917, when thousands of people in Fatima, Portugal, witnessed the Miracle of the Sun. Our Lady of Fatima appeared to the three shepherd children — Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta — calling the world to prayer, penance, and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
During the miracle, the sun appeared to dance, change colors, and move in the sky in a way that amazed all who were present. This divine sign strengthened the faith of countless believers and continues to inspire devotion to Mary and trust in God’s plan.
