On September 7, 2025, the Catholic Church will canonize Blessed Carlo Acutis, a 15-year-old Italian teenager who died of leukemia in 2006. Known as the “cyber-apostle of the Eucharist,” Carlo dedicated his short life to prayer, helping others, and sharing the faith online.

The Miracles Leading to Canonization
Two miracles have been officially attributed to Carlo’s intercession:
- Brazil (2013): A 4-year-old boy in Campo Grande was born with a rare pancreatic condition that prevented him from digesting food normally. After prayers through Carlo’s intercession, the boy was suddenly and completely healed.
- Costa Rica (2022): A 21-year-old woman suffered a severe head injury after a bicycle accident and was not expected to survive. Her mother prayed at Carlo’s tomb in Assisi, asking for his intercession. The young woman made a full recovery, astonishing her doctors.
With these miracles confirmed, the Church has officially recognized Carlo’s holiness, and he will be declared a saint alongside Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.
A Saint for Our Times
Carlo Acutis will be the first saint from the millennial generation, showing the world that holiness is possible even in ordinary, modern life.
Prayer
Blessed Carlo Acutis, soon to be canonized, guide us to love Jesus in the Eucharist and to live with faith, joy, and purity. Pray for us!
