The present manual intends to help readers understand the Eucharistic Youth Movement (EYM). It is aimed both at its participants and people who wish to find out more about the Movement. With this in mind, we want to paint as complete a picture as possible, so we have included: a summary of its history, who the participants are, how it is organised and how it is structured. Likewise, we want to present our spirituality, teaching principles and symbols. The aspects discussed herein are explored in greater detail in the five Official Documents1. These are references for this “Manual of the EYM”. We hope that this will be a valuable resource to introduce ourselves, as a movement within the Catholic Church.
