Despite opportunities for honor and advancement, Francis chose a life of simplicity and service. He devoted himself to preaching, caring for the sick, and strengthening the faith of those entrusted to his care.
Saint Francis Caracciolo died on June 4, 1608, at the age of forty-four. His legacy continues to inspire Catholics to love the Eucharist, serve others generously, and trust completely in God’s providence.
