Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, who became the Light to the nations,
illumine my heart in this holy fast.
When I grow tired, strengthen me.
When I stumble, raise me up.
Make my small efforts a participation in Your great salvation.
Help me to reflect Your light to those around me,
that they too may come out of darkness into Your marvelous light.
Through the prayers of the Theotokos and all the saints, have mercy on me.
Amen.Keep pressing on—Pascha is nearer than when we first began.
