Eleventh Day of Christmas

Meditation

On this Eleventh Day of Christmas, we continue to rejoice in the mystery of the Incarnation. Jesus, the Eternal Word, chose to dwell among us, not in power or wealth, but in humility and love. As the Christmas season draws toward its close, the Church invites us to reflect not only on Christ’s birth, but on our response to Him.

The Child born in Bethlehem calls each of us to follow Him faithfully. His light shines in the darkness, guiding us toward truth, mercy, and holiness. Christmas is not only a celebration—it is a mission. We are called to carry Christ into our homes, our families, and our daily lives.

As we gaze upon the manger, let us ask for the grace to remain close to Jesus, to trust Him in all things, and to live as true witnesses of His love in the world.

Prayer – Eleventh Day of Christmas

O Holy Child Jesus,
born of the Virgin Mary and laid in a humble manger,
we adore You and thank You for coming to save us.

You are the Light that guides our steps,
the Truth that frees our hearts,
and the Love that never abandons us.

On this Eleventh Day of Christmas,
help us to follow You faithfully each day of our lives.
Strengthen our faith when we are weak,
give us courage when we are afraid,
and teach us to love as You love.

May the joy of Your birth remain alive in our hearts,
and may our lives give glory to God the Father,
through You, who live and reign forever.

Amen.
